It's Toronto Vegetarian Association's first ever Compassion Week here in Toronto (May 28th - June 6th) and there are many events going on around the city this week to celebrate it. The one event that I'm quite looking forward to is the Compassion Marketplace that will be held at Artscape Wychwood Barns (601 Christie St) on Sun June 6th from 11am to 7pm. The Compassion Marketplace is a free one-day festival of compassionate food, clothing, entertainment and ideas. I look forward to checking out the local vegan fashion and of course the food and if you're a fellow Torontonian or happen to be here for a visit I hope to see you there!
