Happy 4th of July! I think today is the perfect day for me to post about US Vegan (fashion) Companies! Here are a few of them. I'm still in the process of making this list but I thought I should share what I've written so far. Enjoy.....
These companies to my knowledge are 100% vegan*.
Cri De Coeur - Is a chic eco-friendly shoe & accessory line that is located in New York City. They have along with their regular shoe line a equally fashionable diffusion shoe line for the budget conscious vegan.
Vaute Couture - Is a Chicago/NYC based eco-conscious vegan fashion line. It includes winter coats, statement tees, jewelry and much more.
Okabashi - They've been making their line of flip flops for men & women since since 1984. All their flip flops are 100% Vegan, 100% recyclable, easy on your feet and made in Buford, GA.
Cow Jones Industrial - A 100% vegan boutique located in Chatham New York. They sell some of the most fashionable vegan lines available.
Pansy Maiden - Handmade eco-friendly vegan bags for women, men & children. "Cruelty free bags for cruelty free people". Each bag is lovingly handmade in Medford, MA.
English Retreads - Fashionable vegan handbags & accessories for men & women handcrafted with salvaged recycled rubber from bike & truck tires. All the truck tires come from local Boulder, Colorado truck stops.
Moo Shoes - A vegan shoe & accessory boutique located on Orchard St in New York City. They also have an online shop.
Autonomie Project - Fair trade fashion & footwear for men, women & children. All their products are organic, sweatshop-free and vegan. They're located in Boston.
Keep Company - Funky cruelty-free & vegan unisex kicks. They are located in Los Angeles, CA.
Trash Rags - A 100% vegan shop that sells grunge, punk & alternative styled goods. It has lots of vegan statement tees and is run by the fabulous Jetta Vegas in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Herbivore - A vegan boutique located in a Vegan Mini Mall in Portland OR. they sell their own line of vegan statement tees, stickers, buttons & patches along with other vegan accessories from a variety of different companies.
Green Goods Two Give (GG2G) - Eco-friendly vegan bags & accessories that are made in the USA from salvaged restaurant vinyl & recycled highway billboards. They are located in Milford, CT.
Lions Share Industries - Is a t-shirt company that sells limit addition vegan tees designed by vegan artists. 15% of the sales from each series of tees is donated to a different charity. They are located in Seattle.
Mohop - One of a kind innovative eco-friendly wooden vegan sandals. Handmade by Annie Mohaupt in her Chicago studio.
NOAH - A San Francisco based vegan handbag company. They're dedicated to the well being of animals and donated a portion of their sales to ASPCA. They also make a conscious effort to be a green company.
Christy Robinson Designs - Adorable earth & animal friendly statement jewelry. Christy makes each piece by hand in her Dallas, Texas studio.
Susan Nichole Handbags - Chic handbags made from 100% recycled vegan materials. Each bag is designed by Susan in her Los Angeles, CA. studio.
Mink - An über sexy vegan shoe line handmade from genuine non-leather in Italy. The shoes maybe made in Italy but the company is located in Beverly Hills, CA.
Olsen Haus:Pure Vegan - A high fashion line of eco-friendly vegan shoes from NYC.
Kern - Is an animal, earth & people friendly boutique that carries some of the hottest vegan fashion for both men & women. It's retail shop is located on the campus of Yale University in New Haven, CT.
HELD Belts - 100% vegan belts, wallets & cuffs hand cut & made in Portland OR. from salvaged materials (conveyor belt scraps, bike tires, bike tubes etc). A percentage of the proceeds go to Animal Rights and Permaculture projects
Hydra Heart - Vegan, organic, and earth friendly shoes handmade in Signal Hill, Ca.
Everyday Apparel - A hip fair trade & 100% vegan clothing line based in Los Angeles, California with locations in Bali and Sydney as well. They design & sell clothinig, shoes & accessories for both men & women. Some of the line is also made from recycled materials.
Razzi Vegan - An online vegan boutique that sells shoes (for both men & women), handbags and tees. All their shoes are eco-friendly & sweatshop free. They are located in South El Monte, CA.
Website/ShopAlternative Outfitters - An online vegan boutique for both men & women. The sell shoes, handbags, apperal, beauty products & accessories. They are located in Pasadena, CA.
